Verona in Roman times

The purpose of the this tour is to show how Verona was at the time of its foundation by the Romans in I B.C. and in the first centuries of its development. We will direct your attention to monuments of the Roman time: besides the amphitheatre ARENA, you can admire the ancient Roman gates, Porta Borsari and Porta Leoni, the oldest bridge in town, Ponte Pietra; you will see how the structure of the Roman forum in Piazza Erbe was, and some other very well conserved archeological sites. During this tour you can add the visit of the ARENA, or to the Archeological Museum by the Roman Theatre, or the underground Archeological Museum Scavi Scaligeri (entrance fee).
